Closeries des Moussis
Baragane, 2019

Haut-Médoc

€89.50

750ml Bottle

In the heart of Cantenac (adjacent to Margaux), the 0.4 ha vineyard is planted with of pre-phylloxera vines farmed organically and the yield is minuscule. Baragane is the local name for wild leeks which grow among the vines. This wine is a field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, along with ancient varieties such as Goudale and Carménère. Perfumed cassis on the nose which follow through on the elegant palate. Lifted and textured. Very accomplished harmony.
